On Friday, 26 June 2026, an official farewell ceremony was held at the Thessaloniki Officers’ Club in honor of the departing Deputy Chief of Staff Plans (DCOS PLANS) of the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR), Brigadier General (ITA A) Giovanni PARMIGGIANI, upon completion of his tour of duty at the Headquarters.
During the ceremony, Brigadier General PARMIGGIANI formally handed over his duties to his successor, Brigadier General (ITA A) Roberto BANCI, who assumes the responsibilities of Deputy Chief of Staff Plans.
NRDC-GR extends its sincere appreciation to Brigadier General PARMIGGIANI for his dedicated service, professionalism, and valuable contribution to the Headquarters during his tenure. At the same time, the Headquarters warmly welcomes Brigadier General BANCI and wishes him every success in his new appointment.
