On 4 June 2026, officers and family members of the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR) foreign personnel received certificates following the successful completion of Hellenic and English language courses at both beginner and advanced levels.
This year, 15 family members successfully completed the programme, while among the Headquarters personnel, an officer from Bulgaria successfully graduated from the Hellenic language course. The certificate award ceremony was held at the Headquarters premises in Thessaloniki.
Language proficiency and cross-cultural awareness are key enablers of effective multinational cooperation. For both military personnel and their families, they facilitate integration into local communities, enhance communication, and contribute to a deeper understanding of the cultural environment in which they live and serve.
Through such initiatives, NRDC-GR continues to promote intercultural understanding, strengthen cohesion within its multinational community, and support the successful integration of allied personnel and their families.
