On Monday the 9th of September 2024, the Ambassador of Italy in Greece, Mr. Paolo CUCULI, accompanied by the Honorary Consul of Italy in Thessaloniki, Mrs. Georgia SARANTOPOULOU and a small delegation, visited NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR) Headquarters in Thessaloniki.
The visit began with an office call with NRDC-GR Commander, Lieutenant General Athanasios GARINIS, at the historic Hellenic C’ Army Corps building. Following that, Ambassador CUCULI toured the NRDC-GR premises and received an informative brief on the Headquarters’ structure, mission, and training activities.
During his visit, the Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the important role of NRDC-GR in ensuring security and stability in the region.
