From June 8 to 26, 2026, NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Greece (NRDC-GR) participated in the Coalition Warrior Interoperability eXploration, eXperimentation, eXamination, and eXercise (CWIX 2026), held at the Joint Force Training Centre (JFTC) in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
CWIX is NATO’s premier annual digital interoperability event, designed to test, evaluate, and validate future-ready communication and information systems (CIS) among Alliance partners. The NRDC-GR delegation, consisting of 15 staff officers and technical specialists, focused on verifying and validating Federated Mission Networking (FMN) Spiral 5 specifications. Acting as a capability provider, the team tested its systems under rigorous operational scenarios to ensure a seamless future transition to Spiral 6.
Operating the Configuration Capability 454 GRC FMN SP5 within deployed CIS shelters at the Airfield Extended Testing Area (AETS), NRDC-GR successfully completed 595 out of 677 assigned interoperability tests with exceptional results. On June 24, during the Distinguished Visitors Day, the Commander of the NRDC-GR Signal Brigade, Brigadier General Anastasios Vasileiou, visited the deployment site and praised the team’s high readiness and technical excellence.
The successful participation of NRDC-GR received highly positive feedback from CWIX and JFTC leadership, highlighting the Headquarters’ commitment to maintaining cutting-edge digital capabilities and a strong cooperative spirit within the Alliance.
