On Thursday, 16 July 2026, cadets from the Hellenic Military Nursing Academy (SAN), accompanied by the Commandant of the Academy, Brigadier General (RN) Sofia MOSCHONA, conducted an educational visit to the Headquarters of the Supreme Military Command of Epirus and Macedonia (ASDHM) and the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Greece (NRDC-GR).
The visit commenced with an office call, during which the Commandant of SAN met with the Commander of ASDHM and NRDC-GR, Lieutenant General Grigorios BOUNTLIAKIS, to discuss matters of mutual academic and training cooperation.
Following the office call, the cadets attended briefings delivered by military speakers from both ASDHM and NRDC-GR. The presentations, detailed the Headquarters’ organizational structure, high-readiness capabilities and critical contribution to the NATO Alliance, providing the future military nursing officers with valuable insight into joint operations and medical support in multinational defense environments.
