On Friday, 10 July 2026, the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR) hosted a ceremony at its Headquarters to commemorate French National Day.
The ceremony was presided over by the Commander of NRDC-GR, Lieutenant General Grigorios BOUNTLIAKIS, and attended by distinguished civil and military authorities, including the Consul General of France, Mr. Jean-Luc LAVAUD; the French Defence Attaché, CAPTAIN (French NAVY) Arnaut LACOTE; the Consul General of Türkiye, Mr. Serkan GEDIK; the Consul General of Albania, Mrs. Erida DOBRUSHI; the Consul General of Romania, Ms. Corina CREȚU; the Consul General of Germany, Mrs. Monika FRANK; and the Head of the Office of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Thessaloniki, Mrs. Katerina TSAPIKIDOU.
Their presence, together with the multinational personnel of NRDC-GR, reflected the strong partnership, mutual trust, and close cooperation that characterize the Alliance.
The ceremony concluded with a reception at NRDC-GR Headquarters, providing an opportunity for guests and Headquarters personnel to exchange views and further strengthen the spirit of cooperation and friendship within the multinational community.
