The NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR) hosted the Joint Air-Ground Integration Center (JAGIC) Seminar at its headquarters in Thessaloniki from 26 to 29 May 2026.
The seminar brought together Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from NATO Fires and Targeting (F&T) communities, including representatives from Allied Land Command, to exchange lessons learned and discuss current challenges related to JAGIC employment, airspace deconfliction, dynamic targeting, and tactical coordination in a multi-domain environment.
The primary aim of this four-day forum was to promote a common understanding of JAGIC-related procedures across the Alliance. Particular emphasis was placed on Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) developed through recent activities, as well as on the evaluation of Lessons Learned and Lessons Identified (LL/LI) from Exercise LODO 25.
Throughout the working sessions, participants addressed challenges at the strategic, operational, and tactical levels. Dedicated discussions focused on critical technical areas, including Collateral Damage Estimation (CDE) during dynamic engagements, Positive Identification (PID) criteria, Global Positioning System / Inertial Navigation System (GPS/INS) degradation in an Electronic Warfare (EW) environment, and the interoperability of tactical communication systems.
Participants also examined practical solutions to identified operational gaps and exchanged best practices aimed at enhancing doctrinal coherence, coordination, interoperability, and effectiveness during dynamic targeting operations.
