On Friday, May 15th 2026, a graduation ceremony was held at the Nautical Club of Thessaloniki (NCTH) in order to mark the successful completion of the Open Sea Sailing School. The event, hosted by the Club’s President and Board of Directors, awarded commemorative certifications to members of the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR) who completed their training alongside civilian participants, in recognition of their dedication and skill in mastering the challenges of open sea sailing.
Participation of NRDC-GR personnel in activities such as Open Sea Sailing enhances not only practical skills and teamwork, but also the values of cooperation, discipline, and resilience under demanding conditions. At the same time, the collaboration with the Nautical Club of Thessaloniki (NCTH) strengthens the ties between the military community and local society, highlighting the importance of continuous training and personal development.
