On Friday, 16 October 2026, NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR) hosted a ceremony at its Headquarters in Thessaloniki to commemorate Spanish National Day.
The ceremony was presided over by the Commander of NRDC-GR, Lieutenant General Grigorios BOUNTLIAKIS, and attended by distinguished diplomatic, civilian, and military representatives, including the Honorary Consul of Spain, Mr. Samuel NAHMIAS; the Consul General of Romania, Ms. Corina CREȚU; and the Consul General of Bulgaria, Mr. Anton MARKOV.
Their presence, together with the multinational personnel of NRDC-GR, reflected the strong partnership, mutual trust, and close cooperation that characterise the Alliance.
The ceremony concluded with a reception at NRDC-GR Headquarters, providing an opportunity for distinguished guests and Headquarters personnel to exchange views and further strengthen the spirit of cooperation and friendship within the multinational community.
