On Tuesday the 27th of June 2023, NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR), organized a daily visit for the staff and families to the historic ROUPEL Fortification and Bunkers in northern Greece, one of the most significant military installations in the country. The compound is known for its strategic design and played a crucial role in defending Greece against Axis forces during the II WW.
The guided tour of the basic Bunker, also included an interesting visit to the war museum, located in the nearby area.
