On Friday, 20 March 2026, the NATOs Rapid Deployable Corps (NRDC-GR) organized a one-day cultural visit for its personnel and their families, in the wider area of Naoussa.
Upon arrival, the group was warmly welcomed by the Mayor of the area Nikos Koutsogiannis, accompanied by the Deputy Mayor for Culture Tamara Loginidou and the Municipality’s Secretary General Stavros Valsamidis. Their presence and hospitality set a positive tone for the visit and underlined the importance of strengthening connections with the local community.
The cultural visit brought NRDC-GR participants to the remarkable archaeological site of Aristotle’s School and the excavation site of tombs, where they had the opportunity to explore the rich historical heritage of the region. Guided by an expert archaeologist, visitors gained valuable insights into the significance of ancient Greek history and the preservation of the site.
This one-day experience successfully combined education, culture and local ethics, offering participants a well-rounded and memorable outing.
Such initiatives reflect NRDC-GR ongoing commitment to promoting meaningful engagement and team connection beyond the workplace.
