On Wednesday the 7th and Thursday the 8th of June 2023, NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR) conducted the “AMALTHEIA Logistics Seminar 2023” at its premises in Thessaloniki, with speakers and participants from NATO Command and Force Structure HQs.
At the opening of the event, the Chief of Staff, welcomed all the participants on behalf of the Commander and highlighted the importance of the seminar as a venue to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills and discuss issues related to land logistics.
The aim of the Seminar was to improve the knowledge, interoperability and communication within the NATO Logistics Community, with regards to the Warfighting Corps role, in the framework of common sharing of training experiences and best practices.
The seminar addressed by distinguished briefers from the Allied Land Command (LANDCOM), the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (HNDGS), the Joint Support and Enabling Command (JSEC), the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Spain (NRDC-ESP) and the Greek Support Division (MERYP). The Seminar was attended by various NATO entities such as Kosovo Force (KFOR), Multinational Corps Northeast (MNC-NE), Multinational Division Southeast (MND-SE), NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Italy (NRDC-ITA), Joint Logistics Support Group Naples (JLSGNP) and 1st German-Netherlands Corps (1 GNC) and NATO Rapid Deployable Corps Türkiye (NRDC-TUR).
