On Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026, the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR) personnel gathered at the Officers’ Club for the traditional cutting of the “Vasilopita,” a symbolic Greek custom to welcome the New Year.
The Commander of NRDC-GR, Lieutenant General Grigorios BOUNTLIAKIS, led the ceremony, cutting the pie and offering his warmest wishes for health, prosperity, and success to all personnel and their families.
The event provided an opportunity for the Headquarters’ staff to come together in a festive atmosphere, strengthening the bonds between the multinational members of the NRDC-GR community as they embark on the challenges of the new year.
