On Monday the 13th of January 2025, the NRDC-GR personnel gathered in the Officer’s club for the traditional cutting of “Vasilopita”, a Greek tradition for welcoming the New Year, where Commander NRDC-GR, Lieutenant General Athanasios GARINIS, cut the pie and shared it with the personnel.
On the same occasion, the COM NRDC-GR presented the “Alexander the Great” yearly awards to the HQ Staff members. “Alexander the Great” Award constitutes a program designed to recognize the superior performance, the professional excellence and the significant contribution of Staff Officers and Staff Assistants to NRDC-GR mission.
According to the established procedures and the decisions of the Selection Board, the “Staff Officer Award” was presented to OF-5 Dimitrios Kavouris (GRC-A) and the “Staff Assistant Award” to OR-7 Giulio Fulvio BONERBA (ITA-A).
