On Friday, 27th September 2024, the NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR) HQ, on its premises, verified the readiness of its Liaison and Reconnaissance Team (LRT) for rapid deployment in a potential crisis area.
The purpose of this training event was to evaluate procedures from the activation of the LRT up to its actual deployment. The exercise verified the activation process, personnel readiness, equipment completeness and deployment documentation.
The LRT is a very high-readiness, cross-functional team capable of operating in areas designated by NATO as potential Areas of Operations. This annual training focuses on maintaining the readiness of team members at the highest level, combining both theoretical and practical training.
