NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR) hosted οn its premises the “Military Training and Exercise Programme (MTEP) Planning Board II (MPU-II)”, from 09 Apr 24 till 10 Apr 24 and the Exercise Budget Users Group-II (EBUG-II) on the 11 Apr 24, which were organised by SHAPE J7.
The aim of the MTEP and MPU-II was to synchronize and sequence Collective Training and Exercise (CT&E) activities, requirements, and related activities during the four – year MTEP cycle and to start resourcing them, while the EBUG-II conducted the first in-year review of Fiscal Year 2024 and focused on updating the allocation of resources for the Medium-Term Resource Plan (MTRP) process 2025-2029.
As NATO celebrates its 75th anniversary and NRDC-GR is also celebrating its 20 years of service to the Alliance, this has been one more event to highlight and enhance the message of cohesion and coordination within the Alliance, with the physical participation of sixty six attendants, of twenty one different nationalities, representing twenty nine organizations from NATO Command Structures and NATO Force Structures, but with one single goal, the Defense in the Euro Atlantic Area of the Responsibility.
The conferences were a valuable interaction, including the exchange of ideas and proposals among the participants, sharing of experiences and resulted in a successful and productive outcome.
