From Monday, June 17th to Friday, June 28th 2024, NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR) hosted the “Multinational Logistics Coordination Centre” (MLCC), which organized and conducted the “LOGFAS Operational Movement Planning Course” and the “LOGFAS Movement Execution and Coordination Course.” These courses featured speakers and participants from NATO Force Structure (NFS) HQs.
The primary objective of the LOGFAS Courses was to comprehensively prepare the Training Audience for the upcoming “CONNECTED LOGISTICIANS 2024 (COLO24)” exercise. This Command Post Exercise (CPX), based on LOGFAS, will encompass logistics planning and coordination at the strategic, operational, and tactical level. It will also focus on movement and sustainment operations utilizing the LOGFAS system.
The training aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge, educate them on the use of the LOGFAS software, and familiarize them with its concepts. LOGFAS is the main platform used by NATO to support logistics operations, making this training crucial for effective coordination and planning in future operations.
By the end of the training, participants were expected to be fully prepared and proficient in using LOGFAS, ensuring seamless integration and execution of logistics tasks in the “COLO24” exercise.
