From the 17th until the 19th of January 2023, NATO Rapid Deployable Corps – Greece (NRDC-GR) hosted the Allied Command Operations Electromagnetic Warfare (ACO EW), Conference which is an annual event organized by SHAPE, planned and chaired by NATO JEWCS.
The event attended 18 officers from 11 NATO HQs including SHAPE, ACT, LANDCOM, MARCOM, JEWCS, NCIA, DEU MARFOR, NSO, NRDC-ESP, 1ST GNC and NRDC-GR.
The aim of the conference was to consolidate and share EW knowledge from the strategic to the tactical level, with particular focus on enhancing the EW contribution to NATO operations and exercises, in the framework of the Electromagnetic Operations (EMO).
DCOS OPS Brigadier General Juan REYES welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of the Electromagnetic Operations in contemporary military operations.
